I think her plans are less complex early -- she wants a lawyer she can compromise and set up to do the will. But a woman this complex and sophisticated is not going to bank her entire strategy on convincing some guy to kill her husband. She's got her own plan, and only later realizes he's enough of a stooge to do it for her.Signor Ferrarinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30413383.post-1156610743843089412006-08-26T12:45:00.000-04:002006-08-26T12:45:00.000-04:00Hehehe... Sometimes when we say, "Hey, check out my bush-whacker," we're really only talking about lawn care.Mystery Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17486331815227364944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30413383.post-1154701893622388662006-08-04T10:31:00.000-04:002006-08-04T10:31:00.000-04:00Very funny :)Smouldering sexuality is (IMHO) the e...Very funny :)

Smouldering sexuality is (IMHO) the easiest thing to pull off in subtext; however, it is tough to do well without sounding corny.

Kasdan did a good job. And surprising too, given his riding the wave of success after "Star Wars"... the two things couldn't be any more different than chalk & cheese. I wish I could remember more about "The Big Chill".crosswordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10495338772991002583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30413383.post-1154665487639665292006-08-04T00:24:00.000-04:002006-08-04T00:24:00.000-04:00I think my favorite line was, "Wow, I finally foun...I think my favorite line was, "Wow, I finally found my perfect pigeon for my premeditated plan to have you kill my husband so I can inherit ALL of his money."

Hehehe...

I think there's more to her comment, "I'm married," than just being "horny." It reminds me of that scene at the end of Tootsie when he tries to be honest with her because that's what she confided to him when he was a woman and she throws her drink in his face.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30413383.post-1154640585658819052006-08-03T17:29:00.000-04:002006-08-03T17:29:00.000-04:00Wow, good job Unknown Screenwriter.
