Who is this little girl and what did she grow up to become?
(This is, in fact, a photo of our very own - Miriam Paschal.)

Her name was Lea Katherine Thompson and she grew up to become Beverly Switzler, former art model, near-constant companion and occasional lover of Howard from the planet Duckworld.
She's the granddaughter of Peter Kurten, the vampire of Dusseldorf. She grew up to found a bird sanctuary in Canada.
Her name is Lilly Van Buren, the inventor of the childrens board game "Duck, Duck, Goose, Goose"
Mother Goose: The Early Years
She's actually a little boy, a distant cousin of Danish royalty, who grew up to Hans Christian Anderson.
Kissed by a handsome prince, Elderberry Ouch was transformed back into a little girl. As she bid farewell to her adopted duck father, Slipknot Tucas, she swore that she would spend her life partying like it was 1999.
She did.
I see that Unk has not participated lately. Are these characters too hard to work into his ongoing story about Las Vegas? Is the rewrite taking too much time?
In the last installment, Paco was rushing out the door to play craps. Where could the story possibly go next?

In the crapper?
Nothing like a challenge... LOL. Yeah, the rewrite is taking a lot of my time.
Having said that...
Facetia exits Little Max's room after having left the entire dozen of Krispy Kremes doughnuts behind.
She finds The Beez gazing at a picture hanging on the wall.
FACETIA
You saved my life with
those doughnuts. Thanks.
THE BEEZ
Remember, you said you'd
brush his teeth after.
FACETIA
(laughing)
I will.
The Beez diverts his attention back to the picture.
THE BEEZ
Love the photo.
FACETIA
I keep it on the wall
to remind me.
THE BEEZ
Of what?
FACETIA
Good times. No bills.
No worries. No boyfriend.
THE BEEZ
That's you in the
picture?
Facetia flops down on the sofa.
FACETIA
A hundred years ago. I
just ran out of bread
and ducks didn't believe
me.
The Beez takes a seat on the sofa next to her.
THE BEEZ
Boyfriend?
FACETIA
He's gonna kill me.
That was his money
Paco lost. I am so stupid.
I never learn.
Facetia starts to cry...
The Beez cradles his arm around her.
THE BEEZ
Just tell him what
happened. Tell him you're
sorry.
FACETIA
I can't do that. He'll
kill me for sure.
THE BEEZ
If you're that afraid
of him, why is he your
boyfriend?
Facetia lays her head in her hands.
FACETIA
I keep asking myself
the same thing.
The Beez gently pulls on her chin -- tilts her head so they gaze into each other's eyes.
THE BEEZ
Where is he?
FACETIA
Prison. I was on my
way back from a visit.
THE BEEZ
Prison? Break it off!
What can he do?
Facetia stands -- turns away from The Beez.
FACETIA
He'll find me. He
always finds me.
The Beez stands, moves in behind her, grabs her around the waist -- whispers in her ear.
THE BEEZ
Now I found you.
Facetia spins around...
FACETIA
I have the rest of
his money. We can use
it to get a new start.
INT. BINIONS HORSESHOE - NIGHT
A hand reaches inside a slot machine hopper -- extracts a silver dollar.
CRAP TABLE
Paco stands at an empty crap table -- tosses the silver dollar onto the table.
PACO
Dollar on the twelve.
The STICK MAN pushes the dollar back toward Paco.
STICK MAN
No bet. You have to
make a bet on the line
before you can bet on
the twelve.
Paco picks up the dollar.
PACO
Goddamnit.
An OLD MAN tosses a hundred dollar bill down on the table.
OLD MAN
Change.
A DEALER snatches the bill and quickly counts out twenty five-dollar chips -- pushes them toward the Old Man.
DEALER
Good luck.
Stick Man flips all the dice out of his tray -- flings them over to the Old Man with his stick.
STICK MAN
Coming out!
The Old Man snags a pair of dice and carefully, sets them so that they both show two on top.
Paco again tosses the dollar down on the table.
PACO
Twelve.
STICK MAN
It's a bet.
Old Man grabs the dices -- flings them high in the air...
Paco observes the dice in slow motion as they spin in the air -- gravity pulling them down toward the table...
PACO
Please God..
Unk
OMG! Will Johnny Teabag break out of jail and find Facetia? Will Paco get his 12?
And will the ducks ever believe?
Thanks, Unk!
Yes, it really is me. My mother took the picture in December, 1961, in England.
Your name was Elderberry Ouch?
