Rog Ager's Analysis of Films

Okay, I love Rob Ager.

He studies films intensely. He posts his analysis of films under
Chumfun at YouTube. He runs the Collative Learning website where his basic aim is “to promote public interest in, and awareness of, advanced psychology and independent film making techniques.” He’s not afraid to face the hard truths about what any film may be telling us. He especially loves Kubrick films and studies them with the same zeal that I studied Kubrick’s Napoleon. How can you not love that?

He is, like us, one who participates in the free exchange of ideas about films for the next generation of filmmakers, which is exactly what I was alluding to eons ago in my
revolution post. He is, like us, combating “a society that is sadly turning away from the world of literature in preference of unbelievably mind-numbing forms of quick-fix entertainment.” He also writes, “I'm keen to attract a lot of people away from the brain-numbing stuff and toward active self-education, though this seems a monumental task at times.”

Listed below is the complete list of Ager’s analysis of films.

I’m going to keep adding his vids and updating this list.

Good job, Rob.

the only thing I could think of as to regan possibly being abused before her full manifestation is the noted absence of her father. In the novel , I remember her father's name being howard ( howdy, captain howdy anyone) he misses calling her on her birthday, chris trying to reach him in italy cursing the operator. this scene was actually shortened in the updated version. but I vaguely remember( and this is my point) in the novel I think karras suggests letting the father either know whats going on or suggesting his presence in georgetown to which chris responds with something about " driving a demon out not letting another one in". maybe there' the reason for not only the divorce but regans guilt and the source to these manifestations. This said dennings could be one of many things , another sex abuser, closeted gay or what I always thought he was , a lonely drunk and the center of a supernatural( by implication) murder mystery, .like may people I was always more interested in how regan killed him more than what business he had up there , I thought (maybe naively) he was checking up on her, trying to show concern andmaybe tring to get in moms pants by seeming concerned Like I said I read the novel a long time ago but the fathers absence and villification always stood out to me
