"I'm going to get my ass handed to me"
No worries, Indy.
Hear now, my friends, the words of David Koepp in his first interview since he had found (buried at the end of this long and sordid tunnel we call Indiana Jones 4) the treasure of the green light.
Does he tell you that the movie is going to be SENSATIONAL? That he can’t WAIT to see how it turns out? That it really was worth the wait? And that it will be a superb end to an iconic franchise?
No. This is what he says:
“I’m going to get my ASS handed to me on some level, even by my fellow filmmakers or the audience.”
No worries, Indy.

Here's another quote I found interesting:
“The worst thing to do would be to have him make reference to things he said in the first movie, like to pun on lines of dialogue,” Koepp says. “That’s tempting, because you’ve seen the movie a hundred times and you know all the dialogue, but no human being remembers exactly what they said 25 years ago word for word, much less make reference to it...”
Why would Koepp be so tempted to have Indy reference things he said in THE FIRST MOVIE?
I'm tellin' ya, they're going after the Ark of the Covenant.

Hahahaha, you MIGHT just be reading a little too into it, MM.
Maybe it's just because the first movie is universally recognized as being teh best, and therefore, the one to aspire to.
I hope they don't go after the Ark. They've already done that once, even though going after it in a top secret Government warehouse would be a little different.
We already know what happens when you open it.
Hehehe...
Haven't you guys figured it out? I have a crack team of spies and showbiz experts at my disposal. I'm NEVER wrong.
What could Lucas mean when he said that the Steven and Harrison didn't like the McGuffin Lucas had discovered because it was "too connected?"
Connected to what exactly?
The first film.
