Screenwriting news and in-depth analysis from a devoted, yet mysterious, student of the craft.
Those are great clips. Are they part of a greater piece? I've never heard of it if they are.Interestingly, I blogged on a closely related topic today. It's wierd, in fact.
That's right, damnit! If they don't like it, I can write something else. Ha!
As writers, I think we have an unlimited number of stories within us just stabding in line, waiting to be told. That's why I keep writing and writing and writing.I do this because I don't knwo which one is gonna be the big one and I don't want to die before I get to it.I'm feel like the guy behind the deli counter calling out numbers. "Now serving... twenty four!"It's sad to think about how many stories will die with us in the end. How many things will each of us leave unsaid or unwritten? For that reason, I am gonna crank out every story I possibly can in the time I am given and I am gonna treat each one as the precious little bugger that it is.
I've always thought of myself as a portal. The stories are out there. They just need to find a way through.
